| | I’m still working on new things for another update so while you all are waiting I’ve been thinking about making some kind of contest. Yes, BSD is going to have an icon contest and since I love making icons I’m making a contest out of it. So bleh!
Little Description for the Icon Contest : This contest will see how creative you can be using the skills you have in photoshop. If some of you know on livejournal they have some sites that have people posting up their 100 icon challenge. What’s that? Well people on those sites get to pick their favorite anime series, find images of that series but here is the thing they use & find an image that reflexes on the text. For example let’s say I give you a word let’s say Unforgiving and I have you a series called Loveless to do the 100 icon challenge. Well you the artist will have to find some kind of image that resembles to Unforgiving make an icon out of it do some text if you like but it all depends on your creativity. But here in BSD I’m going to only let you all do ten which easier, no?
I’m going to hold 3 challenges to make out three winners. So if you’re ready for the challenge get ready! The first challenge will hold the 10 Icon Challenge, second will only be a 5 Icon Challenge and then lastly a 1 Icon Challenge. I’m going to be the judge rather than the public it’ll make things easier than waiting for others to vote on. So expect me to be a bit pickier when I pick the winners in each round. Anyone is allowed to join and above all this is for fun & there will be awesome prizes for each of the 3 winners.

Since I'm going to hold a 10 icon challenge contest there are a few rules you must view and know before entering. If you do not read or acknowledge them I'll ignore you completely.

10 Icon Challenge – 1st Round
The first round will be for you to use images to the animated/manga series called Loveless.
RULES TO THE FIRST CHALLENGE {10 Icon Challenge - LOVELESS}
1. I’m going to provide you a series which you’ll do on your 10 icon Challenge on. And you are only to do it on that series. You cannot do the 10 Icon Challenge on a different series that I haven’t given you. If you choose to do something else than what I’ve given you then all your work would have been for nothing.
2. I’m going to give you a code where you will place you icons at. In the code there will be words already set for the challenge which you’ll have to find an image that’ll represent that word. Once you have everything done make some kind of new post on your xanga (anywhere doesn’t matter.) Return & fill out the form when turning in your Icon Challenge and comment here on BSD. Right Click & Save this file which consists the coding in where you will place your icons. ---- > CODE
Please read the code carefully because in each number has the text which I want your image to be based on. :]
TURN IN FORM
1. Username: Your nickname/username as you’re known as.
2.Xanga site name/Website link: Your xanga’s sites name/link of it.
3.10 Icon Challenge post Link: Where your 10 Icon Challenge posted at.
4.Have you Subscribed?: This is for you not for me at all, this will help you when updates have been made for the contest and keep you updated if I don’t come by in telling you what’s going on. :]
3. You must place the banner that I’ve made for the challenge on your site somewhere, doesn’t matter. Mainly to help make more graphic designers to come and join in on the fun to make things go smoothly. This’ll help out a lot. In each round the banners will change for each round so keep an eye on new updates.
4. You and only you have to design the icon no working with others! You have to do this on your own, no cheating now. T__T If I catch you cheating you will no longer be in the icon challenge.
5. Remember this is for fun to win some cool prizes. This isn’t to see who is the greatest or does the best in icon making have fun. ;]
PRIZES
& In each round everyone will have some kind of prize from yours truly. ;] But only the top three winners will get the prize that I plan to give out at the end of this icon challenge. For each of you who do not go on to the next rounds for the contest I will make you a little banner and an icon of your choice.
♥ FOR THE TOP THREE WINNERS AT THE END OF THE ICON CHALLENGE : The three will have the following. You can pick them all or choose to your liking. =O
1. A layout made especially made only for you. (Can pick what color, image, text, style, on how light or dark the layout will be, and or no pattern background. Depends all on you.)
2. Any extras such as an icon, signature/banner, and or no wallpaper.
3. Any tutorial you wish for me to make. (I’ll try my best in giving you any tips you wish to know.)
4. Will be added onto my affiliates section.
5. Banner of being the top 3 winners of the 3 Round Icon Challenge.
DUE DATE FOR THE 1st ROUND {10 Icon Challenge}
I haven’t thought about when the first round will end once I see how much people plan to join I’ll figure out some kind of due date and return with an update when it’s due.
